PFAS
SanAir tests for targeted PFAS in drinking water by Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) paired with Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MSMS) in accordance with EPA Methods 537.1 and 533.

Health Impacts
PFOA and PFOS exposure correlates with increased risk of birth defects, cancer, elevated cholesterol, suppressed immune response, thyroid disease, and more. Only a handful of PFAS compounds have received EPA toxicity assessments, making it vitally important to understand and reduce exposure. Contaminated drinking water is the primary source of PFAS exposure for most people.
