SanAir is proud to be accredited by the AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC (AIHA LAP, LLC) and a participant in the Environmental Microbiology, Lead and Industrial Hygiene Proficiency Analytical Testing program. EMPAT #162952, inclusive of bacteria, fungi, lead and industrial hygiene SanAir uses only approved and standardized procedures and maintains quality control and quality assurance programs under strict AIHA LAP, LLC guidelines.

NVLAP Accredited Lab for TEM and PLM Testing
The National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), administered by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), represents the highest standards for the asbestos testing industry. SanAir is fully accredited by NVLAP for Airborne Asbestos Fiber Analysis (TEM) and Bulk Asbestos Fiber Analysis (PLM).

VELAP Accredited Laboratory
Issued by: Commonwealth Of Virginia Department of General Services Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services. The VELAP is based upon the standards of NELAC or the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference. A laboratory is required to become certified under VELAP if the laboratory is providing air, waste, or water data to the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), or if the laboratory does analysis for a client that provides data to DEQ.

Indoor Air Quality Association
Established in 1995, the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) is dedicated to bringing practitioners together to prevent and solve indoor environmental problems for the benefit of consumers and the public. IAQA’s membership is comprised of individuals and companies, including: contractors, consultants, facility maintenance professionals, researchers, industry vendors, school officials, and representatives from state and federal government agencies.

Mold & Indoor Air Quality
