SanAir strives for the highest levels of accuracy and reliability in our testing. We participate in various accreditation programs, as well as voluntary laboratory proficiency testing within and across specialties.

AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC (AIHA LAP)

SanAir (LAP-162952, LAP-182993) is proud to be accredited by the AIHA Laboratory Accreditation Programs, LLC (AIHA LAP) in Environmental Microbiology, Environmental Lead, Industrial Hygiene, and unique scopes including VOCs, PM2.5, and PMID. SanAir participates in AIHA Proficiency Analytical Testing Programs (PAT-162952) for IHPAT, EMPAT Direct Exam, EMPAT Culture, ELPAT Lead-In-Air, and ELPAT Dust Wipes/Paint Chips/Soil. SanAir also participates in additional AIHA LAP-approved external PT programs as determined beneficial to advancing our testing standards. All accredited fields of testing employ only approved and standardized procedures to maintain quality and data integrity following strict AIHA LAP guidelines and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and EPA NLLAP LQSR Rev 4.0 standards.

SanAir (VA Laboratory ID#: 460251) is an accredited environmental laboratory under the Virginia Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (VELAP) certified by the Division of Consolidated Laboratory Services (DCLS) within the Virginia Department of General Services (DGS). Laboratories accredited in this program must be compliant with the requirements of 1 VAC 30-46 and the 2016 TNI Standard approved by The NELAC Institute.

National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) as administered by New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH)

The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) has been overseeing the health, safety, and well-being of New Yorkers since 1901 – from sanitation and vaccinations to utilizing new developments in science as critical tools in the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. Accurate laboratory test results are essential to health assessment and disease or environmental exposure prevention. The Environmental Laboratory Approval Program (ELAP) of the Wadsworth Center is responsible for the certification of laboratories performing environmental analyses on samples originating from New York State, thus ensuring the accuracy and reliability of these analyses. SanAir (NY Lab Id No: 11983) is approved as an Environmental Laboratory by NYSDOH for multiple fields of accreditation, including environmental analyses of air and emissions, solid and hazardous waste, non-potable water, and potable water.
