SanAir’s Specialty Environmental Testing division takes a comprehensive approach to tracing the root cause of odor issues, including providing clients with best practices for sampling.
We have assisted numerous organizations in identifying and addressing unpleasant odors across a variety of environments, including offices, residential spaces, outdoor areas, educational institutions, and various business settings.
SanAir’s odor protocol is designed to detect volatile organic compounds (VOCs), such as formaldehyde and sulfur-based compounds, among a wide range of other VOCs. This comprehensive approach not only enhances air quality but also contributes to creating healthier and more pleasant environments for individuals in both professional and personal spaces.
Health Impacts
Individuals have varying sensitivities to smells. These smells can arise from a single chemical or a combination of various chemicals, each differing in its capacity to produce odors and health effects. Exposure to strong or offensive odors can engender short-term issues, including headaches, nausea, eye or throat irritation, and dizziness. Persistent bad smells can reduce quality of life through anxiety, sleep disturbances or loss of appetite.
